Finale of our 2024–25 season

The Triquetra Brass Trio have just brought our 2024–25 season to a resounding climax, with a concert that showcased the versatility of the brass trio, with music that spanned three centuries. There were technical challenges, such as the competition piece Trio for Brass by Václav Nelhýbel, surround sound in the Two Aequales by Anton Bruckner, for which the performers left the comfort of the stage, and an intriguing new piece by Ryan Linham, in which the four elements of Air, Water, Earth and Fire were brought to life with a wider range of sounds from brass instruments than the audience had felt possible. More please!

If you missed the concert, you can download the programme and find out more about the artists at this link.
